I grew up in a family landscaping and maintenance business. One of the best. My parents started Green Thumb Landscaping in 1971. I worked my way from the ground up and loved every minute. OK, a bit of a lie. It wasn't always sunshine and roses.
It was a labour of love.... rain, staffing issues, Christmas snow storms, but we made it through and we all worked so hard to build up to being one of the most reputable, reliable and professional landscaping companies in the GTA.
I started my landscaping journey at 16, on the garden crew and through the years transferred to lawn maintenance and enhancements. I earned my middle name "meticulous". I am picky about straight edges and clean curbs. Drives the people I work with a bit crazy but the little details mean a lot to me.
I continued on and turned my attention to training and marketing. Later adding to that customer service and sales. Lots of hats.....
Now, my mom has retired and I have moved out to my happy place on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. I'm not looking to build an empire. I am looking to do what I love and be happy and comfortable and make beautiful gardens and happy customers.
